In recent years, through time spent in Southeast Asia, the artist has come to physically feel that all living things are equal—and that humans are merely one part of a greater cycle.
The phrase “All living things are breathing now” expresses that realization in its simplest form. It is an attempt to create a moment in which those who encounter the words are invited to listen closely to the breath of all living things.
This phrase appears in various forms and settings: as a large sign placed in an open field, or as a small sticker on a window—changing its shape and location as it is exhibited.
近年、作者は東南アジアでの滞在を通じて、「すべての生きものは対等な存在であり、人間もまた大きな循環の一部にすぎない」ということを、身体的に実感するようになった。
