Flower Path 2015

We collected rotten floral tributes and made them into a path.

As time passes, the prayer goes bad and gives out rotten smell.
Do you consider this decomposed prayer to be still sacred?
Or should it be put away?
This path is made of kindness and goodwill that are no longer treatable.

献花

放置されて腐った献花を集め、道にしました。

祈りや弔いはいずれ腐って異臭を放つ。
化けた祈りの形はなおも尊いものなのだろうか、処分すべき廃棄物なのだろうか。
この道は、誰も手が付けられなくなった優しさと祈りの成れの果てで出来ている。
