Time of the sea/Time of the town

Time of Ocean(2014), TIme of Town(2015)

We dived into sea next to the Fukushima no.1 nuclear power plant, and made an hourglass made from seaweeds growing on rubble washed by tsunami.

An hourglass made from a piece of a building fragment at the ghost town near a nuclear power plant in Chernobyl.

Each hourglass falling each grain keep counting down for "RESET"

海の時間(2014)・街の時間(2015)

福島第一原発横の海に潜り、津波で流されたガレキに生える昆布から制作された砂時計。
チェルノブイリ原発そば、ゴーストタウンの建物の破片から制作された砂時計。
一粒一粒落下していくそれぞれの時計が"リセット"へとカウントダウンを続ける。
